Can you please give me some tips on cleaning my air conditioner?

Remove the front part of air conditionder and clean the dust on the coils with a vaccum cleaner.

While cleaning if you see any bent coil, straigthen it with fin comb which you can get in any appliance store.

One thing is very important. Always do air conditioner cleaning very carefully. Unplugging should be the very first step in cleaning. Fin comb are very delicate, so extra care should be taken while cleaning or straightening it.

Change the filter monthly. Other than the regular filter, there are additional ones that can be used, but check with an air-conditioning maintenance person first.
